What we build
We are a builder and a designer, so the crew that measures your yard is the crew that finishes it. Whether the job is a straightforward twelve by sixteen or a multi level build with a sunken spa, it gets the same framing standard and the same attention at the edges.
Composite and exotic hardwood, single level to multi level, cable and iron rail systems.
Masonry, stamped and broom finish concrete, flagstone and paver work sized to the house.
Cedar, painted, and louvered structures, freestanding or tied into the existing roofline.
Built in grills, stone and stucco surrounds, counters, storage, and the utility runs behind them.
Wood burning and gas, stone or stucco, sized and sited so the smoke goes where it should.
Pool builds coordinated with the deck, coping and surround so the two are designed as one.
We also handle landscaping, low voltage lighting and fencing as part of a build.
Every photograph here is our own work, on real Hill Country jobs. No catalog shots, no borrowed portfolios.
Before and after
Drag the handle across. No staging, no different angle, just the same view of the same yard.
How a project goes
01
Thirty minutes on site. We measure, look at drainage and access, and give you a straight answer about what your yard actually needs before anyone talks price.
02
Layout, materials and an itemized number you can read. Nothing vague, and nothing bundled into a single line you cannot check.
03
We handle this part, and it is the part most people dread. We draw what the city or county needs, pull the permit, and put the submission in front of your HOA. You chase nobody, and no post goes in the ground until it is approved and inspected.
04
Framing, flashing, decking and finish. The same crew runs the job start to finish, so nobody has to be told twice how you wanted the stair lights.
05
We walk the finished build with you, work the punch list until it is empty, and show you how to look after the surface you chose.
Materials
We hold Platinum builder status with AZEK and TimberTech, so we install the full line and we quote it honestly, including what each surface asks of you later. Below is what we actually build with.
Platinum is the top contractor tier. It means factory training, current install standards, and the longest labour warranty the manufacturer will underwrite.
Capped polymer, no wood flour in the core. The most fade, stain and moisture resistant surface made, and the coolest underfoot of the capped products. This is what we put on full sun and poolside decks.
Wire brushed finish replicating ipe, mahogany and teak. The top of the line, and the closest a manufactured board gets to real hardwood.
Crosscut white oak and walnut looks with heavy character and real tonal swing board to board. The most dramatic surface on the list.
Gently worn hardwood character with subtle highs and lows and an aged patina. Reads lived in rather than new.
A soft, traditional stained wood look in a versatile palette. The value entry into Advanced PVC, and it still outperforms most composite.
Also available in Advanced PVC: tongue and groove Porch boards, dock and waterfront boards, and Multiwidth boards in narrow, standard and wide for mixed width layouts.
Capped composite, a wood and polymer core under a protective cap. Lower cost than PVC with most of the performance, and up to fifty percent recycled content. It runs warmer in direct sun than PVC, which matters in a Texas August.
Ask us which collection a colour sits in and what it costs delivered to your address. Availability moves, and we quote from current stock rather than a brochure.
Railing decides the look of a deck more than the boards do, because it sits at eye level. Four materials, six collections, and the choice usually comes down to how much view you want to keep.
Clean lines and the clearest sightlines we install. Horizontal cable or narrow pickets. The one to pick when the view is the point.
The most customisable system in the line. Mix top rail, infill and colour to match the deck or deliberately contrast it.
Aluminium reinforced PVC. The premium architectural option, and the one that holds a crisp white without chalking.
A heavier profile than Pinnacle for a more traditional, substantial look. Same PVC performance underneath.
High endurance powder coated steel with a wrought iron feel. Our value pick when you want black metal without the cable price.
Traditional vinyl in matte white or khaki. Ships as a kit, installs fast, and suits a classic porch better than a modern deck.
Drink rails, integrated stair and post cap lighting, and Feeney cable infill are available across most of these systems. We run lighting wire during the build so nothing is surface mounted afterwards.
Real timber, no cap. It costs more up front, weathers to a silver grey unless you oil it, and nothing manufactured feels quite the same underfoot.
Handroanthus spp. · Brazilian walnut
The hardest thing we lay. Every hole gets pre drilled, it sinks in water, and it carries a Class A flame spread rating. Expect it to outlast the fasteners holding it down.
Dipteryx odorata · Brazilian teak
Nearly Ipe density for less money. The grain interlocks, so it wants a sharp blade and a careful hand at the ends, and it smells faintly of vanilla when cut.
Astronium graveolens · Goncalo alves
The most dramatic board on this list when new. Worth knowing before you choose it: the dark striping mellows and blends toward a uniform russet after a season or two of Texas sun.
Apuleia leiocarpa · Brazilian ash
Our pick for a pool surround. The pale colour throws off heat instead of holding it, so it stays walkable barefoot in August when the dark woods will not.
Tectona grandis
The softest here and still the most weather proof, because the natural oil does the work instead of the density. It barely moves with humidity. Ask us about old growth against plantation stock before you budget it.
Colour chips are sampled from current manufacturer swatches, except Toasted Wheat and Timber Gray which are approximated, and all are shown for orientation only. Screens shift colour and boards vary batch to batch, so we bring physical samples to every estimate. That is the only way to choose a colour you will still like in five years. Hardwood figures are published species averages.
I decided to go with a lower bid, which ended up being a big mistake. So when we built our 750 square foot dream deck, we went with Andrew.
His attention to detail and perfectionist work ethic will go a long way. You better get on his schedule now.
★★★★★
This company is top notch. There were challenges to rebuilding our deck due to the yard slope, supports for the old deck, and a bay window. They figured out how to fit a pergola around the bay window, and rebuilt the steps to make them safer for my issues with my RA. The deck is beautiful.

Andrew and his guys built an amazing deck for us. They used TimberTech AZEK composite decking and showed great attention to detail. The deck frame is SOLID. They went the extra mile to make sure the deck is as solid as possible.

After a year long nightmare dealing with another contractor, we gave them a call. His team of craftsmen showed up as promised, called with updates, worked hard, maintained a clean job site and finished on schedule with excellent craftsmanship.

Set the size, pick the surface and the railing, and see it before anyone drives out. When it looks right, send it over and we will bring physical samples and a real number.

A planning sketch, not a construction drawing. Final layout depends on your grade, drainage, access and local code, which is what the site visit is for.
Book an estimate
One form, one visit, one number. Tell us what you have in mind and we will come out and price it properly.
We walk the space with you. Measurements, grade, drainage and access, plus where the sun actually lands in the afternoon. That last one decides more than people expect.
We talk through surfaces. Composite against exotic hardwood, railing that keeps your view or railing that gives you privacy, and we leave physical samples with you.
You get an itemized quote. Usually within a few days, broken out line by line so you can see what each part of the build actually costs.
Around thirty minutes for most projects, closer to an hour if there is a pool involved. It is free, and nobody will ask you to decide on the spot.
